USF's Christina Stockton Captures Third Straight Sacramento City Women's Championship

Christina Stockton captured her third consecutive title, winning the 73rd Sacramento City Women's Championship Sunday afternoon at Bing Maloney Golf Course. Stockton rallied for a five-under 68 in the final round to force a playoff and secured the trophy with a birdie on the third playoff hole.

USF sophomore Danielle Cvitanov shot a three round score of 221 (73, 73, 75) and finished in a share of 22nd place at the 2008 NCAA West Regional Saturday at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course. Cvitanov finished on a tear, recording back-to-back birdies and a par to complete her third round on the par-72 course playing at 6,338 yards. [+]

USF sophomore Danielle Cvitanov fired a one-over 73 in the second round of the 2008 NCAA West Regional Friday at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course and enters Saturday's final round at two-over 146 (73, 73).
