Former Don Soccer Standout Daniel DeGeer Competing for USA Futsal National Team
Daniel DeGeer is the latest USF men's soccer player to represent the United States when he competed on the US Futsal National Team during the 2008 CONCACAF Qualifier in Guatemala City. A four-year letter winner for the Dons, DeGeer is the second former Don to compete for a national team this summer, joining former teammate Rob Valentino, who competed on the U-23 National Team.

USF Men's Soccer Announces 2008 Recruiting Class
USF men's soccer announces a highly skilled group of incoming recruits for the 2008 season as released today by head coach Erik Visser. Seven newcomers have signed National Letters of Intent (NLI) - 5-9 midfielder Leon Williams (Manchester, Jamaica), 6-2 defender Victor Wennberg (Boras, Sweden), 6-1 defender Omar Elmasri (Arcadia, CA), 6-2 defender Adam Nowak (Toronto, Canada), 5-10 defender Jared Cruz (Visalia, CA), 6-4 defender Ryan McEvoy and 6-4 goalkeeper Ryan Amons (McLean, VA).

Rob Valentino Named to US U-23 National Team
Former USF soccer standout Rob Valentino has been selected to the US U-23 National Team and will compete in the Toulon International Tournament beginning Wednesday, May 21 when the United States takes on Turkey. Kick off is set for 6:30 AM (PT) from Stade Mayol and will be aired live on Fox Soccer Channel.
